Summer Conference 2025 – Delegate Information
This year’s conference will be held at the Hive, in Worcester on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th June.
On this page we’ve including some helpful information about the event, including travel, accommodation, and the full programme for the two days.
Travel
Public transport
The nearest train station to the conference venue is Worcester Foregate Street. The station is situated across the road from the conference accommodation, the Whitehouse hotel. You are welcome to leave your bags at the hotel reception before heading over to the conference venue, The Hive, which is around a 5-minute walk away (see map below).
If you are walking to the Hive from the station: cross at the crossing directly outside the main station entrance (next to the Tesco). You may then head straight on, or you can turn left and take the first right onto Shaw Street (which then becomes The Butts).

As you can see from the image above you will need to go up the stairs or the ramp to reach the main entrance from either side. There is also a lift to the main entrance if travelling via Shaw Street/The Butts.
By car
Carparking is available at the Whitehouse hotel on a first come first served basis. However, there are also multiple carparks in close proximity to the Hive. Further information about this may be found on the Hive website.

Accommodation
Accommodation for the Thursday night is at the Worcester Whitehouse Hotel and is included in the price of the conference ticket. Check-in is at 3pm on Thursday 12th June 2025 and check-out is at 11am on Friday 13th June 2025. Luggage can be stored at reception if required. We are aware that some delegates may wish to travel up on the Wednesday. You can book an additional night’s accommodation for the Wednesday directly with the venue.

FAQs
I’m travelling from further away. What time should I arrive?
We appreciate that our delegates are travelling from all across the UK. The conference itself starts at 12:40 on the Thursday and we recommend you arrive no later than 12:40. We recognise that sometimes there are delays with transport and late comers are welcome to join the conference at their earliest convenience. The committee will be on hand to register late comers during breaks.
